Digital Photography - Cameras, Tablets and Smartphones

At our last meeting before the summer break it was decided to extend a welcome to ALL digital photography users.  This,  of course, includes everyone who takes photographs using devices such as tablet computers and Smart Phones eg iPhones (Apple),  Android phones (Samsung etc) and other devices.  These have dramatically improved each year and are now serious competitors to be considered alongside conventional digital cameras.  Since the theme of our group continues to be “Let’s take better pictures”,  we should accept that the best camera to take a picture that presents itself to you is the camera that you happen to have with you!  This could be your Smart Phone or Tablet rather than a conventional digital camera.  Therefore all submitted pictures for monthly meetings can be taken with any digital device.  Over time we will discover what problems each device may throw up and subsequently examine possible solutions.
